There will be water stations available on site to refill them. Water is also available for purchase at many of our vendor locations.

Yes, strollers and small wagons for children are allowed. Security personnel at the gates will search all items and have the final say on what is allowed through the admissions gate.
Can I Bring My Pet?
Pets are NOT allowed into the airshow and should NOT be left in vehicles. Because of the festival setting with food and beverage vendors, the Health Department prohibits animals, other than legally allowed service animals. Please also understand that temperatures on the tarmac area can easily reach over 100 degrees and will burn your pets’ feet. The loud noises of the planes can injure their sensitive hearing and/or frighten your animal. Please leave your pet(s) at home where they are safe.
Is It all seating or standing room only?
For general admission, it’s festival/standing room around the aircraft. You may bring your own lawn/folding chairs or blankets to sit on.
Preferred Seating and upgraded Canteen Experience is available for purchase, where seating will be provided for you. More information about our seating options can be found on our TICKETS page.
Will there be Shade?
Airshows are held under the open sky. We strongly recommend bringing hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Please plan on being exposed to direct sunlight for the duration of the event. You may also bring a small personal umbrella; however, no large umbrellas, tents, or canopies are allowed.
You can pre-purchase tickets to the upgraded Canteen Experience, which is the only ticket option that comes with shade.
Can I Leave To Go To My Car and Come Back?
Yes, however, you will have to get back into the admissions and ticketing line and be subject to a bag check.
Will there be a kid’s zone at this year’s airshow?
While we won’t have a designated “kids’ zone” this year, rest assured that the 2024 Pikes Peak Regional Airshow is still incredibly family-friendly. We have exciting interactive STEM vendors lined up on the concourse. These vendors offer hands-on activities that are not only entertaining but also educational. It’s a fantastic opportunity for children to explore the world of aviation and science in a fun and engaging way.
Will there be a High Flight Experience happening again the day before the event?
We appreciate the enthusiasm for the High Flight experience, and it has been a cherished tradition for us. However, due to the growth of the airshow and the increase in scale, the setup days have become more intricate, requiring additional time and coordination. This has made it challenging to host the High Flight experience on the day before the event.
We want to assure you that our commitment to inclusivity and providing memorable experiences remains unwavering. We still invite you to come and experience the thrill that the airshow has to offer.
Additionally, we encourage you to explore the National World War II Aviation Museum during the off-season. This museum showcases the very aircraft that will be featured in the airshow.

We understand the importance of the High Flight experience and appreciate everyone’s feedback and we will strongly reconsider this for future airshows.
Will the Photography Zone return with the 2024 airshow?
While the Photography Zone won’t be returning for the 2024 airshow, we welcome people to purchase a Preferred Seating ticket option. Not only is it more budget-friendly than last year’s Photography Zone, but it also provides access to the flight line, ensuring you have a prime vantage point to capture breathtaking shots.
Are there still Canteen Spots available for the airshow?
We’re grateful for the incredible response and enthusiasm from those who have already secured their tickets! While Canteen Spots are no longer available, we’re pleased to invite people to purchase Preferred Seating tickets. Not only do they grant you prime seating to witness the airshow, but you’ll also enjoy the convenience of private restrooms and receive an official collectible program per order.
How will parking be different than airshows in the past?
We’ve learned valuable lessons from the previous airshow, and this year, we’re dedicated to enhancing the parking experience for our attendees. We’re working closely with the City of Colorado Springs, the Colorado Springs Airport, the Colorado Springs Police Department, State Patrol, CDOT, and a professional parking consultant.
Our comprehensive approach aims to ensure a smooth and efficient parking process for everyone. While we understand that traffic can be heavy, we encourage attendees to arrive early to avoid any delays and ensure they don’t miss out on the thrilling performances.
Coordinated efforts with various organizations and experts are geared towards optimizing the parking logistics and minimizing any inconveniences. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work diligently to make the 2024 Pikes Peak Regional Airshow a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
More detailed instructions to come as we approach the event.
Can I expect the vendor wait times to be long?
This year, we are actively working to enhance the overall experience by strategically spreading out vendors across the venue. Our goal is to minimize wait times and create a more seamless and enjoyable shopping and dining experience for all attendees.
By strategically placing vendors throughout the venue, we aim to disperse the crowd and ensure that everyone has convenient access to the offerings without unnecessary delays.
